Notiverse Terms of Service

Last updated:

These terms are the agreement between you and Yasir Hamdan Alghamdi, trading as Yasir Dev Studio, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (“Yasir Dev Studio”, “we”, “us”) for the Notiverse app and its related services. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

1. The service

Notiverse is a workspace for notes, tasks, files, reminders and drawings, on phone and tablet — iOS and Android. Desktop apps are planned but not released; there is no web version of the app, and this website is not one. Some features are free; some require a paid plan or AI credits, as described in the app.

2. Your account

3. Your content is yours

You keep all ownership of everything you create in Notiverse. We claim no rights over it. You grant us only the narrow, revocable licence we need to run the service for you — to store your content, sync it to your devices, back it up, and show it to the people you deliberately share it with — and to permit our service providers to do the same, strictly to run the service for you.

That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, with one carve-out. Deleting removes your content from the live service straight away, but copies can survive for a limited period in encrypted backups until those are overwritten on their normal cycle. For those copies, and for that period, the licence continues — for nothing but holding them until they are gone. The Privacy Policy states the window.

You are responsible for your content, and you confirm you have the right to store and share whatever you put into the app.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Notiverse to:

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these rules. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will tell you why first.

5. Plans, payment and AI credits

6. Plan limits, and how they can change

Each plan comes with limits — how much storage you get, how many devices may sync at once, how many notes you can share and with how many people, and how many AI credits the plan grants each month. These limits are part of what you are paying for, and they are material terms of this agreement. The current numbers for your plan are always shown in the app.

They are delivered by remote configuration rather than baked into the app, so we can correct or improve them without making you wait for an update. We may change them. If a change reduces a limit in a way that matters to you, we will tell you before it applies to your plan, and no earlier than your next renewal — so you can cancel first if the plan is no longer worth it to you. Increases can happen at any time.

7. Sharing and collaboration

When you share a note, the people you invite can read it, and can edit it if you give them that role. You control membership and can revoke access at any time — but you cannot un-see what has already been seen, and a collaborator may have kept their own copy. Share deliberately.

Sharing also shows the other members who you are. The Privacy Policy lists exactly which of your details they see.

8. Availability, and things outside our control

We work to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

Keep your own backups. The app can export your data and make encrypted backups; please use them. If you lose an encrypted backup's passphrase, that backup cannot be recovered by anyone, including us.

9. AI features

AI output is generated automatically and may be wrong, incomplete or misleading. Check anything that matters before relying on it. Do not use AI output as medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. You are responsible for what you do with it. AI features depend on third-party providers and may change or become unavailable.

10. Beta and preview features

Some features are labelled beta, preview or experimental. They are exactly that: unfinished. They may behave oddly, lose data, change without warning, or be withdrawn entirely, and they are excluded from any commitment elsewhere in these terms about availability or fitness. Use them on real work only if you have a backup you would be content to fall back on.

11. Feedback

If you send us an idea, a suggestion, a bug report or any other feedback, we may use it freely — build it, adapt it, ship it — with no obligation to you, no payment, and no duty of confidence. That is not us taking something from you; it is what lets us act on a good idea without a legal negotiation first. So please send feedback, and please do not send us anything you consider confidential or that you need to be paid for.

12. Copyright and other IP complaints

If you believe something stored or shared through Notiverse infringes your copyright, trade mark or other rights, write to support@notiverse.net with the subject line IP complaint, and include:

What happens next. We acknowledge receipt, and where the complaint is properly made out we disable access to the material and notify the person who posted it, telling them who complained. They may send a counter-notice giving their reasons and their contact details; we pass it to you, and if you do not tell us within 14 days that you have started legal proceedings we may restore the material. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.

A complaint made in bad faith wastes everyone's time and may expose you to liability in your own country. Please be sure before you send one.

13. Messages we send you

Being a Notiverse user means we sometimes have to reach you. Security alerts, billing and receipt messages, service interruptions, and notices that these terms or the Privacy Policy are changing are part of the service — you cannot unsubscribe from them while your account exists, because they are how we keep our side of this agreement. Keep your email address current.

Marketing is different. Anything promotional is opt-in, is sent separately, and every such message carries an unsubscribe link that works.

14. Inactive accounts

If a free account has no sign-in activity for 24 consecutive months, we may delete it and its data. We will email the address on the account at least 30 days beforehand, so you have time to keep it — signing in is all it takes. Paid accounts are not subject to this. Keep your email address current, because that notice is the only warning you get.

15. Claims that come from how you use Notiverse

If someone brings a claim against us because of what you stored, shared or did in the app, you agree to cover it — the claim itself, and the reasonable legal costs of dealing with it. This is limited to claims arising from your content, or from your breach of section 4 (acceptable use). It does not extend to anything caused by us, and it does not apply to a consumer where the law of your country says it cannot.

We will tell you promptly about any such claim, let you take over its defence if you want to, and not settle it in a way that binds you without asking.

16. Service credit

If something goes wrong on our side, we may offer you subscription credit — additional paid-plan time or AI credits — as a resolution. Where we offer credit and you accept it, that credit settles the claim it was offered for. Accepting or declining is your choice, and declining does not affect any other right you have under these terms or under applicable law.

17. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; gross negligence or wilful misconduct; or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Subject to the above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:

Any subscription credit we have provided and you have accepted for the same matter counts toward the limit above.

Nothing in these terms affects any rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country of residence. Where that law grants you rights or remedies that cannot be limited by agreement, those rights apply in addition to these terms.

18. Termination

You may stop using Notiverse and delete your account at any time — in the app, or at notiverse.net/delete-account. We may suspend or terminate your access for a material breach of these terms, or where required by law. On termination your licence to use the app ends and your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. Remember to cancel a store subscription separately.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will update the date above and notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.

20. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the courts of Saudi Arabia have jurisdiction — without depriving you of any mandatory consumer protection rights you hold in your own country of residence.

21. General

22. Additional terms for the Apple App Store

This section applies only if you got Notiverse from the Apple App Store. Where it conflicts with anything above, this section wins for App Store users.
